It was a mixture of praise to God, excitement with sprinkles of nostalgic feeling on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Shammah Divine Zion Ministry International in Warri, Delta state, as family, friends, religious faithful and members from all works of life, towns and cities across the state, gathered to celebrate the life and time of a great man of God and charismatic religious leader reputed for preaching salvation, late Pastor Simeon Andafa, one year after he joined the saint triumphant in heaven.

The well attended first memorial anniversary service which was officiated by Pastor Laura Nimi Thompson, saw the late Pastor’s family, church members and associates from various cities, speak glowingly in emotion laden voices about his sterling virtues and attributes.

The programme which started with an opening prayer and followed by praise and worship also featured song ministrations, soul lifting sermon, goodwill messages from some of his close associates and church members, among other activities.

Associates who spoke with GbaramatuVoice were emphatic in their believe that the late Pastor is in heaven as all he did everything humanly possible while on earth to leave a holy life and win souls for Christ.

On her part, a Pastor Laura Nimi Thompson, daughter of the deceased told GbaramatuVoice that the late revered man of God was so spirit-filled that it will be difficult to fill the vacuum created by his departure.
