PAP: TVC Disassociates Itself from Fake Video Circulating Online Regarding Dennis Otuaro

The management of TVC News and TVC Communications has firmly disassociated itself from a misleading video circulating online, falsely claiming dissatisfaction over the appointment of Dr. Dennis Otuaro as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

This clarification comes in response to a viral video from a press conference held by the Coalition of Niger Delta Civil Society in Abuja, purportedly expressing discontent with Dr. Otuaro’s appointment.

In a X (Twitter) post on Saturday, TVC emphasized that the purported news is a hoax and did not originate from its platforms. Nigerians are urged to disregard the misinformation and treat it as unsubstantiated.

“DISCLAIMER: This is to inform the general public that this video below and its content do not emanate from TVC News,” they stated. https://twitter.com/tvcnewsng/status/1784174074089857405?t=NZeHkQ06cq2EiiKMSaRUdw&s=19

Meanwhile, the Niger Delta Youth Council Worldwide (NDYC) has reiterated its unwavering support for Dr. Dennis Otuaro as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

In a joint statement signed by Engr. Jator Abido, National Coordinator; Comr. Kede Michael, National Secretary; Comr. Akowien Joshual, DPC; and Engr. Beke Apere, BOT, the group condemned the Coalition of Niger Delta Civil Society’s press conference, denouncing their purported dissatisfaction with Dr. Otuaro’s appointment.
