Joshua MacIver Mourns with Nigerian Oil Tycoon Matthew Tonlagha Over Sister’s Demise

Great Joshua MacIver, APC Deputy Governorship Candidate and Coordinator of Tantita Security Services Bayelsa State Operations, extends condolences to billionaire oil tycoon and Executive Director, Fenog Nigeria Limited, Mr. Matthew Tonlagha, on the passing of his beloved elder sister, Madam Evelyn Ekomieyefa Tonlagha, affectionately known as Big Mama.

Big Mama reportedly departed on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in Warri after a brief illness at the age of 59.

In a statement released in Yenagoa on Tuesday, Great Joshua MacIver expressed heartfelt sympathy, urging Mr. Tonlagha, the Vice Chairman, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited to find solace in the knowledge that his sister led a commendable life, contributing significantly to the betterment of humanity.

Paying a respectful tribute to Big Mama, Great Joshua MacIver acknowledged her as a cherished elder and joined the family and the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom in mourning the loss of the esteemed matriarch of the Tonlagha family.

“It is with a heavy heart that I join my elder brother and boss, Oga Mathew Tonlagha, Executive Director of Fenog Nigeria Limited and Vice Chairman, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, in bidding farewell to his late elder sister, late Madam Evelyn Ekonmieyefa Tonlagha AKA “BIG MAMA” who passed on to the great beyond on Thursday, December 7th, 2023.

“I may not have known her in life, but drawing from the stream of respect and encomiums showered on her by my boss who is fondly called Oga Mathew, I can say that she was a dutiful mother, a diligent sister, a compassionate woman and a people’s person.

“My boss, Oga Mathew Tonlagha has also proven from his honest disposition in dealing with people that he’s from a family that is well cultured and I don’t have a doubt that she must have led an equal life of sincerity which might have positively affected him while growing up.

“It is my earnest prayer that as she embarks on this homeward journey, may she ride on the wings of angels and have a peaceful journey.

“I also pray for the immediate family, most especially my boss and elder brother, Oga Mathew Tonlagha to be strengthened at this trying time.”
