DELTA 2023: APC’s Alapala unseats incumbent PDP lawmaker in Burutu Constituency 1
The All Progressives Congress – APC’s Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo has been declared winner of the Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu Constituency 1.
By this, Alapala has unseated the incumbent lawmaker, Asupa Forteta, also known as the “Polical Motorsaw” of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
GbaramatuVoice reports that the Governorship and House of Assembly elections were held nationwide on Saturday.
The Returning Officer for the Burutu Constituency 1, Igbinobo Charles who declared the results on Sunday at the INEC Collation Centre in Burutu, said Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo secured 7,296 votes to beat his closest opponent and the incumbent lawmaker, Asupa Forteta of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who got 6,416 votes.
