Rt Hon Edison Ehie has resigned as a member representing Ahoada East in the Rivers State House of Assembly and also the speaker of a group of lawmakers.
His formal resignation letter, dated 29th December 2023, was directed to Professor Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
While the lawmaker did not provide a specific reason for his resignation, he expressed gratitude to his colleagues and constituents for the privilege of serving with them.
