Bayelsa: Dauyegha debunks alleged face-off between Sylva, Lokpobiri

By Enaobo Asiayei

The Member-elect representing Ekeremor 11 constituency, in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Honourable Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha has appealed to the people of the state, especially the All Progressives Congress, APC, and his family, to disregard what he described as  “False rumour and propaganda currently being speculated by retrogressive persons in our state.”

According to him, the propaganda is that “Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, Minister of State is at loggerhead with His Excellency, Chief Timipre Sylva, former Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, over the forthcoming governorship election coming November 16, 2019.”

Hon. Wilson Ayakpo Dauyegha

Going further, Dauyeg6ha stated, “Please note that both distinguished personalities are leaders and fathers of our ever caring great Party-APC.

“They have a common goal: APC to win the governorship election and move Bayelsa State to the next level of economic development, growth and empowerment.

“They are therefore (Siamese Twins) inseparable and are presently working assiduously round the clock to ensure a resounding victory on November 16, 2019.

“It is important to emphasise that the rumour mongers are scared of APC and have now resulted to a campaign of calumny. APC must not allow them, because many are already crossing over to our party, with many others preparing to come in.”

Dauyegha however pleaded for the support of all APC faithfuls to get up and harmoniously work together to ensure victory at the governorship polls irrespective of who the party’s candidate is.
