Oluremi Tinubu to inaugurate Tompolo’s PBAT Door-to-Door headquarters in Abuja Friday
Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will inaugurate the headquarters of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja on Friday, October 23, 2026, according to the movement.
The ceremony, scheduled for 3 p.m., is expected to bring together political leaders, coordinators, supporters and invited guests as the organisation expands its mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The movement is convened by Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, who also serves as its grand patron.
According to the organisation, the Abuja headquarters will coordinate its activities in the Federal Capital Territory and support its nationwide mobilisation programme. The office is also expected to strengthen communication between its national leadership, state chapters and local government coordinators.
The movement’s National Coordinator, Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, said the inauguration would reinforce efforts to build a grassroots network capable of reaching voters across the country.
He said the office would support coordination and community outreach as the organisation develops its structures ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
State chapters and vehicle deployments
The inauguration comes amid the movement’s expansion across several states through the establishment of coordinating structures and the distribution of vehicles and equipment.
The organisation said its mobilisation activities had reached Katsina, Borno, Kano, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kogi, Lagos, Oyo, Yobe, Bauchi, Kwara, Gombe and Ondo.
It reported distributing more than 300 campaign vehicles, alongside other equipment, to support its operations.
Among the allocations listed by the movement were 34 vehicles for Katsina, 44 for Borno and 50 for Kano. It also reported deploying 25 vehicles each to Taraba, Nasarawa and Kogi.
In Katsina, the organisation said it inaugurated coordinators across the state’s 34 local government areas. The Borno deployment included public-address equipment, while the vehicles supplied to Kano were intended to support mobilisation across its 44 local government areas.
The movement also reported deploying 34 vehicles during the inauguration of its Kwara State chapter in Ilorin, as well as 26 vehicles each to Gombe and Ondo.
According to the organisation, the vehicles are intended to improve coordinators’ mobility, strengthen communication and facilitate outreach to communities.
During the inauguration of its Ondo State structure, Tompolo urged coordinators to intensify engagement with registered voters and translate support for President Tinubu into votes at the polls.
Focus on direct community engagement
The movement said its strategy centres on direct engagement with residents through a network of coordinators and ambassadors operating in communities across the country.
Its outreach activities include visits to households, markets, workplaces, religious centres and other gathering points to discuss the administration’s policies and programmes.
According to the group, coordinators are expected to explain the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, including initiatives relating to infrastructure, education, healthcare and economic reforms, while listening to residents’ concerns.
The organisation said it was working towards establishing a presence across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with structures extending through local government areas, wards and polling units.
Its leadership urged members to provide accurate information, sustain peaceful engagement and respect citizens with differing political opinions.
The Abuja headquarters is intended to provide a central base for these activities, supporting planning, communication and coordination as the movement advances its nationwide campaign ahead of the 2027 election.
