Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 50 vehicles to support the activities of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Kano State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The vehicles were presented on Sunday in Kano as part of the movement’s grassroots mobilisation drive across the state’s 44 local government areas.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement is campaigning for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and says it plans to establish coordinators and ambassadors down to ward and polling-unit levels to communicate the administration’s policies and programmes directly to residents.
Speaking on behalf of Tompolo at the event, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, urged Kano residents to assess the political choices before them as campaigns ahead of 2027 gather momentum.

Pondi, conveying Tompolo’s position, argued that President Tinubu should be allowed to complete a second term before power returns to the North in 2031, citing the informal North-South rotational arrangement.
“No presidential candidate can come here to tell us that he wants to be elected for four years and actually keep to his promise to stay for four years.
“For President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he is about rounding up his first four years. He doesn’t have reasons to deceive us, he is meant to serve just another four years and we will all rally around your preferred northern candidate for the presidency in 2031.”

Tompolo also urged supporters of the movement to intensify grassroots engagement, saying the campaign would take its message directly to communities.
“We move from door-to-door. We move from market-to-market. We move from house-to-house, we move from mosque-to-mosque. We move from ward to ward and we ensure that we tell the people the good things President Bola Tinubu has done.”
He acknowledged that some of the Federal Government’s economic reforms had brought difficulties, but argued that the changes had also increased the resources available to state governments.

“Yes, reforms come with peculiar challenges. But if you want to change a system, it will come with its challenges.
“The economic policies introduced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have given more money to the various states and this has helped different governors execute projects, pay salaries, pay pension and carry out duties that are expected of governors.”
That assessment reflects the movement’s political position as part of its campaign for Tinubu’s re-election.
Receiving the vehicles, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf said they would be deployed to strengthen mobilisation and political activities across the state.
“These vehicles being presented today will be deployed to support our political structures and groups across the state, across the political local government areas, as we prepare for the 2027 general elections,” Yusuf said.
The governor said mobility was important to grassroots political engagement and would enable campaign officials to reach communities across Kano.
Yusuf also backed the continuation of the informal North-South rotation of the presidency, arguing that the South should complete an eight-year cycle before power returns to the North.
He called on political parties and candidates to conduct issue-based campaigns, focusing on their programmes, records and proposals rather than personal attacks, while also urging supporters to avoid violence during the electioneering period.
The Kano donation is the latest in a series of mobilisation activities by the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement. Earlier in September, the group presented 34 campaign vehicles in Katsina, while similar campaign materials and vehicles were unveiled in Borno as the movement expanded its northern operations.
The movement says its strategy is to build grassroots structures and engage voters directly ahead of the 2027 elections.
