Kimberly is married to Mr. Reuben Obawei Ebiwoni, who is from the Gbaramatu kingdom, Delta State, Nigeria, and she is proud to be an Ijaw woman. Kimberly is part Cherokee (Native American) Indian. Her Cherokee name is Gigawales and it means ‘the one who walks close to the Chief and has the destiny of the enemy in her hands.’ She is a Peace Ambassador to Nigeria.

But there is something more about this amazing woman.

Kimberly Daniels-Ebiwoni lives in Jacksonville, Florida where she has been an elected official for the past eleven years. Kimberly is the first and only African-American Democrat female to win a city-wide seat. She was one of five At-Large Council members. Afterwards, she was elected to the Florida House of Representatives for four years. As a freshman, Kimberly broke records in passing legislation and brought millions to her community. She is most proud of passing the bill to put prayer back into schools in the State of Florida.
