In what could be described as a reflection of the fondness he has for his mother, the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro on Friday, December 28th, 2018, delivered a powerful tribute and biography to his mother whom he referred to her as “a great and super mother, a profound mentor and achiever.”

He said: “My Dear Mum, I sincerely feel overjoyed seeing you achieve today, the spectacular age of 82years. Congratulations, Mummy!

“Mummy, what continues to well up the joy is that several decades have not dimmed the sweet memories I hold of your loving care and the great teacher you proved to be through my years and that of my surviving siblings. You taught us your admirable virtue of hard work for self-sufficiency which made you an attraction for our Daddy, Mr. Napoleon Burutu Otuaro in the first place, and which you have continued to exemplify and harp on till date. Your contagious love for humanity around you, over the years, has been an inspiration.

“Remarkably, I remain enthralled by the sacrifices you had to make to see us through school and the close tab you kept on us with your loving counsel in our relentless sojourns for essence in life. Your trust in Almighty God for strength is a compass we have adopted to help weather the storms through to a brighter life.

“Mama, Happy Birthday! May the Almighty God, who has seen you thus far, approve more gracious years ahead. And may God Almighty remain our pillar of support to enable us adequately discharge our duty of care to my very deserving and special mother!

“Once again, happy birthday, Mummy!”
