I will unite Ijaws and Itsekiris in Warri South West, Says Guwor

Emomotimi Guwor, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer for the 2019 House of Assembly seat in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state, has said he will unite the Ijaws and Itsekiris if he emerges victorious at the 2019 general elections

He said this during his appreciation visit to Warri South West Itsekiri political leaders in Warri, Delta state, for their unwavering support during the PDP primaries which took place on October 4th in which he emerged as winner.

Guwor, who was accompanied by various delegates and supporters, said that his tenure would be enjoyed by all in Warri South West as he will not make it a one sided affair but it would certainly be for all.

In his words, “I will not divide the house in Warri South West Local Government Area but will unite the Ijaws and Itsekiris.

“I will be for all and will be a bridge builder between our people, the Ijaws and the Itsekiris. Warri South West Local Government is for the PDP.

Going down memory lane, he said, “Some months ago, me and my people came here to ask for your support; the Itsekiris of Warri South West. I asked for a level playing ground for the primaries and that I got. Everyone voted; both Ijaws and Itsekiris that made me emerge the winner.

“So I am here today to show my appreciation for helping me come out the winner of the PDP primaries,” he added.

Furthermore, he said that the just concluded primaries had no winner or loser as everyone is a winner, adding that some of the aspirants called him, assuring him that they are behind him even after the election.

The Itsekiri leader in Warri South West, Pa John Edah in his response, said that they received him first before his gifts and prayed for him to succeed in his political endeavor.
