High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 32 campaign vehicles to the Oyo State chapter of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Tompolo, Grand Patron and founder of the movement, also called on residents of Oyo State to support the President for another four-year term, arguing that his administration’s economic reforms needed to be sustained.
The Niger Delta leader made the appeal through his representative, High Chief Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, during the inauguration of the movement’s Oyo State executives at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Speaking on behalf of Tompolo, Pondi said the movement was committed to mobilising voters across Nigeria for Tinubu and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“We are here today to tell you that we are coming to join you to canvass for votes across the country for your son, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. What Tompolo is preaching is that Tinubu is doing very well. Tinubu’s reform policies are fantastic,” he said.

“We want you to support President Tinubu’s re-election for him to continue with the good work he is doing.”
Pondi maintained that the President’s economic policies had increased the resources available to state governments, enabling them to undertake development projects, pay salaries and pensions, and meet other financial obligations.
He said Tompolo believed that sustaining the reforms would enable the administration to consolidate its policies and deliver further development across the country.

The 32 vehicles presented at the event are expected to support the movement’s grassroots operations and electoral mobilisation activities across Oyo State.
Also speaking, the APC governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, expressed appreciation to Tompolo for the donation, describing it as an important contribution to the party’s preparations for the forthcoming elections.
Alli assured the gathering that the vehicles and other campaign materials would be deployed effectively to strengthen the APC’s activities across the state.
“We are very grateful. I want to assure you that we are going to make judicious use of all these vehicles and all other items that you may want to give us or from any other support group,” Alli said.
The governorship candidate lamented that the APC had remained out of power in Oyo State for several years, saying party members were working towards returning the state to the party’s control in 2027.
He urged party supporters and stakeholders to intensify their political engagements and mobilisation efforts across the state.
Earlier, the National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, called on residents of Oyo State, particularly young people, to participate in the movement’s activities ahead of the elections.
Asuku described Tinubu’s economic reforms as necessary for Nigeria’s long-term growth and development, citing the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as one of the administration’s initiatives that he said had positively affected young Nigerians.
He charged members of the movement to expand their operations beyond the state capital and take their mobilisation activities into local government areas, wards and communities.
According to him, the movement remains committed to canvassing support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition while also supporting APC candidates seeking elective offices in 2027.
The inauguration in Ibadan forms part of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement’s nationwide political mobilisation activities, with the organisation seeking to expand its grassroots structures ahead of the next general elections.
