Posters promoting Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state, for president ahead of the 2023 general election have surfaced in the federal capital territory (FCT).
Some of the posters seen by our correspondent on Monday were on buildings located on Herbert Macaulay road in the Central Business District (CBD) of the FCT.
The district is home to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the Defence College and Radio House.
The posters had the inscription, ‘Rescue Nigeria 2023 from insecurity, poverty, bandits, killing’.
Wike is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
