There was a widespread jubilation in Warri, on Sunday as Niger Delta activist and National Coordinator of Center for Peace and Environmental Justice (CEPEJ), Chief Sheriff Mulade, officialy declared his intention to contest for 2023 Governorship in Delta State. 

Mulade who made this known before some Ijaw and Itsekiri stakeholders at the Ijaw for Delta Governorship Musical Album launch by Chief Kingsley Takembo and his Young Shall Grow Band of Africa in Warri, said he has the requisite political experience and entrepreneurial acumen to take the state to higher pedestal, if given the opportunity to govern.
