As the race for 2019 general elections hots-up, the Warri South West Political Front (WSWPF), a political pressure Group created to make a maximum political impact and ensuring that youthful candidates emerge in various political positions set for launch on Sunday 27th May 27, 2018.
This disclosure was made yesterday Monday 7th May 2018 by the Group’s Chairman when the Group paid an unscheduled visit to the Corporate Headquarters of the GbaramatuVoice Newspaper in Warri Delta state.
According to the Group’s Chairman, Hon. Bethues Emmanuel Ayetan, the launching ceremony would hold on Sunday 27th May, 2018 at the KFT Place along NNPC Housing Complex Road, Ekpan.
Hon. Bethus Emmanuel Ayetan who is the immediate past councilor of Okerenkoko Ward in Warri South West Local Government explained that the visit of the group was aimed at seeking ways to partner with the award-winning GbaramatuVoice media organization.
The WSWPF Boss further explained that political group is poised to ensure the emergence of youthful candidates with visionary ideas that will bring about a people-purposed representation.
On his part, the Group’s secretary, Comr. Godswill Wuruyai stated that it is the group’s vision to support youthful candidates from the Warri South-West axis.
The Groups Scribe added that such a candidate must not just be young but should be capable of delivering the desired dividends of democracy to the people as be accessible and accountable.
Such candidates, he stressed must tow the part of older politicians that usually take offense to inquiries from the youths and sometimes see such as insult.
Responding, Jacob Abai, the Publisher of GbaramatuVoice, Mr. Jacob Abai thanked the group for the visit.
Abai explained that the GbaramatuVoice is a platform that has taken it upon itself to maintain the flagship of neutrality to all parties but will never be neutral on the issues that have to do with the development of the Niger Delta region.
He finally applauded the Group for their relentless efforts towards enshrining good governance to the region while assuring them of his company’s support in any objective forms.
