Three months after, NRC resumes operations at Warri-Itakpe railway (SEE TIME TABLE)

Three months after its suspension by the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), the Warri-Itakpe train has resumed activities on Monday, April 24, 2023.

The train station is located in Ujevwu, Udu Local Government Area of Delta state.

Recall that in January 2023, 148 passengers and 38 crew members of a train plying the Warri-Itakpe route escaped death when the train derailed inside the Kogi forest, forcing them (passengers) to be stranded.

Below is the video from the Ujevwu station which departed Delta state to Itakpe in Kogi state by 8:00am Monday, April 24, 2023.
