All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart in Delta south senatorial district, who is also gunning for the senatorial position of the district in 2019, Chief Micheal Johnny, has stated that the journey to end hardship in the locality as just started.

He gave the inkling when speaking with newsmen at the national secretariat of the APC in Abuja after picking the party’s Expression of Interest and Nomination forms on Friday.

According to the Warri South West born politico, he has nobody to be scared of in his determination to give his constituents the dividends of democracy as soon as he gets to the upper legislative chambers in 2019.

“When I get to the bridge I will cross it irrespective of the odds stacked against my noble desire to make life better for my people,” he submitted.

Insiders are of the opinion that the major opposition to his ambition to get the APC ticket would be the immediate former governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, who just defected to the party and is also eyeing the Delta south senatorial ticket.
