In a colourful but spirit-filled celebration, Reveverend Emmanuel O. Onofurho, the General Overseer of Souls Harvesters Ministries (SHM) on Saturday November 25th, 2017 dedicated the newly built branch of the church at Opuedebobor community in Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
At the occasion, Rev. Onofurho admonished Christians and the Souls Harvesters Ministries (SHM) members in particular, to place their trust in God while pointing out that with the dedication, the church has become a holy place where they can pray and have all their requests granted by God.
He added that “Henceforth, anyone, whether male or female who steps into the ultra modern edifice will not go back home the same way as God now dwells here and hlHe is ready to provide answers to our nagging challenges.”
On his part, the host Pastor, Marvel Zibimoghan encouraged those that have given their lives to Christ to stand firm and be steadfast by totally submitting their lives to Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
The elated man of God explained that the church dedication ceremony has availed the faithfuls the opportunity to see the General Overseer of SHM, an opportunity he described as marvelous for not just the faithfuls but to the entire people of Gbaramatu Kingdom.
Still on the church dedication, Elder Hospidelis Ebikeme, an elder in the church and an indigene of Opuedebobor community in Gbaramatu Kingdom expressed joy over the visit of Rev.Emmanuel Onofuroh to the community.
Elder Ebikeme pleaded with the visiting General Overseer to pray for peace and progress of the people and the community as a whole.
Ebikeme further explained to the pastor that the ongoing sand filling project in the community as contracted by the government is being delayed for so many years thereby making the community to endlessly contend with erosion.
He therefore, requested the man of God to pray for God’s intervention so that the government will remember them and come to their aid.
Other dignitaries that were present at the church dedication ceremony includes but not limited to, Pastor Gabriel E.Okpoye; Rev. Peter Boma; Pastor Emmanuel Edicha.
Also present were; Pastor Miyenteide T. Mike, Okerenkoko Christian Faith Ministry; Rev. Dr Sam Edem; Pastor Uwabor Pedro; and many others.
