The group gave the warning in a Press statement issued by Commander Olomubini Kakarakokoro, a.k.a “No Mercy” today while calling on multinational oil companies operating within the Niger Delta territory to aggressively develop the region.

The statement also welcome the Nigerian Military to the Niger Delta creeks in their ongoing “Operation Crocodile Smile ” noting that no amount of military might will derail its resolve for self determination and resource control.

According to Kakarakokoro who alleged that the warning was occasioned by the age long marginalization, neglect and deprivation meted out on its people while reiterating that it should not be seen as a mere threat.

It read “The ASAWANA Deadly Force of Niger Delta wishes to inform the Federal Republic of Nigeria that our attention has been shifted to Chevron Nigeria Limited. Because of their role in the marginalisation of oil producing communities especially in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Delta State.

“The Asawana Deadly Force of Niger Delta have decided to shut all Chevron/NPDC facilities operating in these mentioned part of the region.”
