The National woman leader and Ibe-Benemo-ere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Triple Chief Vero Tangbowei, has warned Chief Michael Johnny who is planning to take his campaign train to the Palace of the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, tomorrow to steer clear or face dire consequences.
In an exclusive chat with GbaramatuVoice, Triple Chief Tangbowei stated that Chief Johnny has caused so much havoc by his actions and inactions such that he needs to atone for his sins by way of making apologies to the different segments of the Kingdom viz women, youths and elders before ever thinking of visiting the Pere in the Palace.
“This is a man that has given the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom different names before the world, now for him to be talking of going to meet the Pere in the Palace tomorrow without first meeting with the different stakeholders – the elders, women and youths and apologise publicly is the height of insolence.
“Johnny should not forget what he has said about the Kingdom; that we are in darkness and that the kingdom belongs to just a few people.
“He should purge himself of all these before talking of going to the Pere’s palace. Not only that, he should apologise to Tompolo for the various inciting statements he has made about him to such an extent that Tompolo lost his life savings and even his father.
“By Johnny’s action Tompolo is been hunted by the government and nobody knows his whereabout whether he is dead or alive nobody knows.”
Chief Tangbowei going further, said; “I am a relation of Chief Johnny so I know what I am saying about him before he can do such (go to the Pere’s palace) he should atone for his sins against the people of Gbaramatu Kingdom.
“But if he refuses to do that and insist on making the trip to the Kingdom we (the women) will be waiting for him and his entourage at the river bank where we’ll give him the biggest embarrassment of his life.
“If he thinks because of his ambition to become a senator on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) he can bypass some important steps he should think twice. Without making a public apology and getting forgiven for his many misdeeds he should forget about been at the Palace.”
