It was a moment of joy and gratitude as Comrade Shadrach Ebikeme, the President of Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC), dedicated his third child, Master Ebitebe Prosperous Onitsha, to God. This heartwarming event took place on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Area Headquarters, Aka Avenue, Effurun, Delta State.
The dedication ceremony drew a large gathering of family members, friends, and well-wishers who joined the Onitsha family in giving thanks to God for the newest addition to their family.
Following the heartfelt thanksgiving service, a lively reception was hosted at his residence. Guests were treated to the melodious tunes of Ijaw musician Smally Okpe and his band, making the celebration even more memorable.
Among the distinguished guests who graced the occasion were: Hon. Isaac Wilkie PhD, Commissioner of Water Resources and Development, Delta State;
Elder Amos Okoro, Chairman of Happy Men’s Club; Chief Joseph Wuruyai, Chairman of the Gbaramatu Host Community Development Trust; Hon. Dickson Ogugu, PDP Chairmanshipaspirant, Warri South West; Dr. Doubra Okotete, Chairman, Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Western Zone, among others.
Also present was Chief (Mrs.) Mercy Gbenekama, wife of the Fiyewei of Gbaramatu kingdom, adding to the warmth and camaraderie of the celebration.
It was a day brimming with blessings, heartfelt good wishes, and the hopeful promise of a bright and prosperous future for the young Master Ebitebe Prosperous Onitsha, symbolizing the hope and aspirations of a close-knit community.
