Tompolo prays for Ijaw nation as Bini-ebi Madinorbo festival comes to an end

The three days annual Bini-Ebi Madinorbo festival has finally come to an end as the Chief Priest of the temple, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemopolo aka Tompolo, offered prayers to the deity.

GbaramtuVoice writes that the annual ritual took place in the Ogulagha Kingdom, in the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The event, which has turned out to become a religious pilgrim over time, saw worshippers of the Bini-Ebi Madinorbo praying to the mother goddess to ask for blessings and avert any negative influences.

The Chief Priest, Tompolo prayed fervently for the Ijaw nation to be prosperous in all facets of life.

Present at the occasion includes Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu federal constituency; Chief Hon. Macdonald Igbediwei, the prime minister, Gbaraun Kingdom, Bayelsa State and a member Bayelsa state House of Assembly, Southern Ijaw LGA,  High Chief Dennis Otuaro, the Ibe-Uyadonwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Hon. Priye, SSA on Tourism to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Simeon Bebenimibo, SA to the Governor of Delta State on intelligence gathering, High Chief Vero Emmanuel Tangbewei, the Ibe-Benimo-ere of Gbaramatu Kingdom and others.
