The oil city of Warri, Delta State was on Saturday 15th September, 2017, shutdown, as eminent Deltans stormed the city for the funeral of late Engr. Henry Okoro Warri, father of the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Deputy Governor on Media, Evangelist Hon. (Mrs.) Doris Warri Aboh, who died at the age of 62.
Late Engr. Warri who passed on to the Almighty God in 2017 was a respected mariner, a benefactor, a philanthropist, a visionary, an erudite scholar and above all a very meek and humble man.
In a tribute by the daughter, Hon. Doris described her late father’s life as a definition of a fruitful fulfilled life well lived; adding that he left an indelible footprint on the sand of time while his sojourn on this mother earth lasted.
