[PHOTOS] NNPCL, top security agencies, others visit newly discovered illegal pipeline in Delta
Senior officials of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), top security personnel and the media, today, inspected the newly discovered illegal crude oil pipeline connected to the Trans Forcados Export Trunkline and linked to an abandoned platform in the high sea owned by the Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited, NAOCL, where they load stolen crude oil into vessels and sold abroad.
They were led on this guided tour by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Engr. Kestin Pondi at the Forcados Terminal in Ogulagha, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state.
GbaramatuVoice had earlier reported that Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, TSSNL, a surveillance company operated by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, a few days discovered another Illegal crude oil pipeline attached to the Trans Forcados Export Trunk line.
The Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, operates the Forcados Terminal in Ogulagha, which has a nameplate capacity to export 400,000 barrels per day. It takes delivery of crude from the Forcados Oil Pipeline System and is the second largest pipeline network in the oil-producing region, after the Bonny Pipeline System in the eastern Niger Delta.
