[PHOTOS] Niger Delta plan Grand 50th Birthday bash for Tompolo at Warri Township Stadium

The people of the Niger Delta are set to celebrate the 50th birthday celebration of Niger Delta former warlord, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on Monday April 12, 2021 at the Warri Township Stadium, Delta State.

Tompolo, who was the leader of disbanded MEND which were agitating against the insensitivity of the Federal Government and the international oil companies towards to exploitation and degradation of the Niger Delta.

He was one of the key figures in the implementation of the Niger Delta amnesty programme under the Goodluck Jonathan administration and is currently peace advocate in the Niger Delta region.
