Ijaw youths, under the umbrella of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Abuja chapter, on Tuesday night, held a candlelight procession for late Sylvester Oromoni Jnr, the Dowen College student who died under controversial circumstances.
GbaramatuVoice had earlier reported that the 12-year-old JS2 student was bullied and beaten for refusing to join a cult.
Those in attendance wore black shirts that had been customised with the student’s name and image.
Comedienne and actress, Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin; Chief Diplomat Adam Ogomugo, Chairman, IYC Abuja Northern Chapter; Comrade Preye Ebizimor, immediate past chairman, IYC Abuja Northern chapter; Princess Keme Oromoni, Sylvester’s cousin and others were present at the candle light moment in Glory Land.
