Delta speaker’s younger sister, Olivia Guwor marries IYC big boy, Igarama in grand style
The Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, gave out his beautiful younger sister, Olivia Guwor to Comrade Nicholas Igarama, Western Zone Financial Secretary of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), in a grand style traditional marriage ceremony at the NNPC Senior Staff Club, Ekpan, on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
The couple, Olivia and Nicholas have been love birds and became husband and wife Saturday.

The traditional marriage ceremony was well attended by crème de la crème in the society in the likes of Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives; Members of the Delta State House of Assembly led by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Arthur Akpowowo; Chief Favour Izoukumor, Executive Director, DESOPADEC; Hon. Stanley Braboke, Commissioner of Labour and Employment, Bayelsa state; High Chief Tunde Smooth, Bolowei of Niger Delta; High Chief Kestin Pondi, Managing Director, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited; and other top politicians, captains of industry and community leaders too numerous to mention.
Both families, the Guwors of Gbaramatu/Ogulagha Kingdoms and Igaramas of Egbema kingdom didn’t leave any stone unturned in making the event a glamorous one. From the choice of venue to the exquisite decorations, food, drinks, music and the quality of guests, it was indeed a grand party that befits royalty.
The event was spiced up by popular Ijaw musician, Prince Isaba Abraham, as well as MC Abioka and other prominent Warri-based Master of Ceremonies and comedians thrilled guests.
Highlight of the event was the cutting of the marriage cake and dancing by the celebrants.
