[PHOTO STORY] Tompolo leads celebration of 2023 Bini-ebi Madinorbo Festival amidst pomp, pageantry
The High Priest of Egbesu deity, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo led the believers of Bini-ebi Madinorbo, the mother goddess on Wednesday to celebrate the 2023 grand finale of the Bini-ebi festival amidst pomp and pageantry.
The three day traditional festival which held at the Bini-ebi Madinorbo temple in Ogulagha town, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta, climaxed in grand-style among other attractions showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Ijaw people in the Niger Delta.

Thousands of people from various Ijaw communities in Nigeria and diaspora stormed Ogulagha to celebrate the festival with Tompolo.
Speaking at the cultural ceremony High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo who doubles as the Chief Priest admonished believers to remain both faithful and resolute in faith. He also used the opportunity provided by the celebration to pray for the wellbeing of believers.
Present at the all important annual event were high profiled dignitaries from across Ijaw nation, captains of industries and cultural enthusiasts.
