Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has engaged stakeholders from the Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh communities in Udu and Warri South-West Local Government Areas to address their long-standing land dispute.
The meeting, held today at his Osubi residence, brought together members of the peace committee overseeing the crisis. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to peaceful coexistence and agreed to uphold mutually accepted settlement terms.
Governor Oborevwori commended the elders and youths for their willingness to embrace peace, assuring them that a formal pronouncement on the agreed terms would be made soon.
Representatives from both communities expressed gratitude for the governor’s intervention, acknowledging his efforts in fostering lasting peace.
