…Iyasere announces demise of top Monarch
The Iyasere of Isaba Kingdom, with traditional headquarters in Isaba, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State has announced the demise of their royal majesty, Pere (King) Donokoromo II, the Pere of the great Isaba Kingdom
His demise was announced on Saturday January 13th, 2018, according to customs of the Kingdom, by the Iyasere (Prime Minister) of the Isaba Kingdom and the Chairman of the Isaba Traditinal Council of Chiefs, High Chief John Ekpenzu in conjunction with the Royal family and Anduwi, the Amaokosuowei (the oldest man) to all the natives of the kingdom in Nigeria and Diaspora, the Delta State Government, the Delta State Izon Traditional Chiefs Council, and Delta State Traditional Rulers Council.
The Announcement states; ”I, High Chief John I. B. Ekpenzu (JP) the Iyasere, (Prime-Minister) of Isaba Kingdom and the Chairman of Isaba Traditional Council of Chiefs in conjunction with the Royal family, the Isaba Traditional Council of Chiefs; the Amaokosuowei (Oldest-Man) of Isaba Kingdom and in accordance with the laid down customs and traditions of Isaba people, hereby announce to the people of Isaba Kingdom, within and in diaspora, in particular the people and government of Delta State under the leadership of Senator (Dr) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy, Barrister (Deacon) Kingsley Otuaro; the Chairman/members (Royal Fathers) Delta State Traditional Rulers of Council; the Chairman/members Delta State Izon Traditional Rulers of Council; the Chairman, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Hon Taiye Touyo Duke and the general public, of the demise of our Royal Father, His Imperial Majesty, Pere (King) Donokoromo II, the Pere of the great Isaba Kingdom, in Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State of Nigeria.
”Funeral rites of our Royal Father shall be made known to the general public in due course.
“May his soul rest in peace.”
