PDP youth leaders meet in Okerenkoko, promise victory for Okowa, Oborevwori, others.
The Youth Wing of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Okerenkoko, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state on Monday, met in the community where they among other decisions agreed to work for the all round success of the party in the forthcoming general elections in the country.
Rising from the meeting which last for about two hours at the community town hall, the youths told GbaramatuVoice that they have resolved to provide unalloyed support to the party’s presidential and the state governorship candidates.
They also resolved to throw their weights behind the State and National Assemblies’ candidates, in the forthcoming elections, noting that they now speak in one voice and have a common objective to work and ensure victory for all the candidates of the party.
On his part, Comrade Seiyefa Ekpemupolo, the Convener of the meeting explained that the reason for the meeting was to discuss some strategies and tactics sustainable enough to reinforce Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wining spree in the kingdom.
He stressed that Gbaramatu Kingdom is PDP stronghold which they can never allow the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) to take over.
Present at the meeting were Comrade Ekpemupolo seiyefa, Conever and Special Assistant to the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly and PDP Governorship Candidate; Engr Ebikonde Victor Sokoto, Youth Leader, Comrade Bebenimibo Philemon, Youth President, Okerenkoko Federated community; Hon.Emmanuel Bethus Ayetan, Former Councilor, among others.
