Pastor Laura Andafa-Doigbagha is the New General Overseer of Shammah Divine Zion Ministry
The Shammah Divine Zion Ministry International headquartered in Warri, Delta state on Sunday installed Pastor Laura Andafa-Diogbagha as the new General Overseer.
With the successful installation, Pastor Laura succeeds her late father and founder, Rev. Simon Andafa, who passed on to eternal glory in 2022.
Befor her installation, she was a prominent pastor in the church and has headed many units and departments within the church at different times and places.
The spirit filled services preceeding her installation was presided over by Rev. Edwin Bayeibo and witnessed by other annotated men of God and members of the church.
Her biography, early life, education, ministry and family
She was born on the 5th of August 1979 into the Andafa family.
She was born into the C&S Church of Zion as evidenced in Zion family in her attending the Seraphic School of Theology, Ugbonla in 1992 and was baptised and ordained into the Martha band.
She was further ordained as deaconess in 2000 and was later ordained as a Pastor in 2005 in Shammah Divine Zion Ministry Int’l. Since then she has worked as a leader in several departments and in all capacity of the Church, ranging from a prayer coordinator, Sunday School, Evangelism/ and Crusade Director. A coordinator of the school of discipleship and then to a peak of the Pastoral Directorate.
She’s the pioneer of the famous Potter’s House Fellowship among others.
She’s a co-writer of the popular weekly devotional called the “Life News”. Recently she was appointed as the National Women Leader of the Zion Fellowship Of Nigeria (ZFI).
Her quest for theological knowledge has moved her to several theological seminary and training.
Educationally, she bags an HND in Accountant (Osisatech Poly) and a B.sc in Estate Management (Enugu State University of Science and Technology).
Pastor Laura Thompson as she is popular called is married to Apostle Vote Thompson DOIGBAGHA and they are blessed with children.
She is a staff of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC).
