Beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), under the leadership of the 3 phases generals, have enthusiastically endorsed Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro, PhD, as the coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Program.
They express unwavering confidence in his ability to advance President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and uphold the current peace in the region.
During a press conference in Warri on Sunday led by Sylvester Tambou, known as General Okpala, National Chairman of Phase 2; Amb. Preye Ekpebide, Chairman of Phase 3; and King Bounanaowei Smith, King of the Forest, and attended by several ex-agitators, gratitude was extended to President Tinubu for appointing a worthy and highly competent individual to manage the program.
The beneficiaries also commend the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for his relentless efforts in ensuring peace across the nation.
In addition to endorsing Dr. Otuaro, PAP beneficiaries are advocating for a review of their monthly stipends to better reflect current economic realities. They urge the National Security Adviser and President Tinubu to disregard any individuals or groups making inflammatory statements against Dr. Otuaro for personal gain.
Ex-agitators reaffirm their support for Dr. Dennis Otuaro, emphasizing his progressive mindset and capability to restore the program’s lost glory and rectify its shortcomings.
They assure the federal government of their commitment to maintaining peace in the Niger Delta region, a testament to the positive impact of the amnesty program.
