Otuaro bags National Daily Most Outstanding Peace Builder of the Year Award
The Deputy Governor of Delta state, Barr. Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, has been honoured with the Most Outstanding Peace Builder of the Year Award for the year 2022 by the National Daily, a Lagos based publication.
The event, held at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos on Friday, May 12, 2023, was chaired by Prince Julius Adelusi Adeluyi OFR mni, Chairman, Juli Plc, while former President Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, was the Special Guest of Honour.

Receiving the award, Otuaro thanked the management of National Daily Newspaper for considering him worthy of the award.
In his acceptance speech, Otuaro expressed his gratitude for the recognition as he dedicated the award to the people of Delta State and his boss, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the executive governor of delta state.
He also talked about the significance of peace-building efforts in fostering unity and sustainable development, calling on all Nigerians to work together towards a harmonious and prosperous future for the nation.
Recipients of other award categories include the Governor of Lagos, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Akwa Ibom, Mr Udom Emmanuel, Inspector General of Police, Baba Alkali Usman, Mr Kanayo O. Kanayo and many other eminent Nigerians.
