Ogulagha community prepares for grand celebration of Mama Tuesday Tuasinde’s Life

Ogulagha, Delta State – October 8, 2023 – The vibrant and oil-rich Ogulagha community, situated within the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, is preparing for a spectacular celebration to commemorate the life of the late Mama Tuesday Tuasinde.

She was the cherished mother of Chief Peter Tuasinde, a prominent Delta state oil and gas businessman who serves as the CEO/Chairman of Petusam Global Nigeria Limited and holds the title of Tuwenegha-owei of Ogulagha Kingdom.

Mama Tuesday Tuasinde peacefully passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 71.

As per the official invitation card jointly signed by Mr. John Atangbala and Chief Peter Tuasinde on behalf of the family and children, the burial ceremony is scheduled to unfold on the picturesque island of Ogulagha Community, renowned for its liquid gold resources.

The event promises to be a blend of solemnity and festivity, with the following detailed itinerary:

Friday, October 26, 2023:

●3:00 PM to 11:00 PM: Entertainment by David Mutu, popularly known as FC The Story Teller, at Mama Tuesday Tuasinde’s compound in Keneka Quarters, Ogulagha Community.

Saturday, October 28, 2023:

●7:00 AM to 8:00 AM: Departure of the body from Safe Haven Mortuary at Emibere to Miller Waterside.

●8:30 AM to 1:00 PM: Body’s departure from Miller Waterside on a special barge convoy to her hometown, Ogulagha Community in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, featuring entertainment by Isaba Abraham.

●1:30 PM to 3:00 PM: A brief stopover at her husband’s family compound.

●3:00 PM: Arrival of the body at her residence in Keneka Quarters, Ogulagha.

●5:00 PM: Lying in state.

●7:00 PM till Dawn: Entertainment for esteemed guests and visitors, headlined by Alfred Izon-ebi.

Sunday, October 29, 2023:

●8:00 AM to 9:00 AM: Interment activities.
