In appreciation of his numerous contributions to peace, development, conflicts resolution and humanitarian service in Ijawland and Niger Delta as a whole, the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Elder (Capt.) Joseph Timiyan JP, Agbonu, Torububor 1, has been conferred with the GbaramatuVoice Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award was presented to the Ebenanaowei of Ogulagha, on Thursday Oct. 29 at his corporate office in Warri by the Publisher/CEO, Jacob Abai, as part of activities marking the just concluded GbaramatuVoice 5th Anniversary, Lectures and Awards held in Port Harcourt.
The traditional ruler was also awarded Niger Delta Peace Hero of the Year award by the media house.
The GbaramatuVoice Niger Delta Awards is part of the annual GbaramatuVoice Anniversary, Lectures/Awards that is now in its 5th year.
It has recognised over the years leaders, industry practitioners, and the government officials who have contributed to the development of the Niger Delta region.
The awards were presented to winners at the 5th GbaramatuVoice Niger Delta Awards that was held in Port Harcourt on September 30 at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
Some of his traditional chiefs present during the presentation of awards to the monarch included, Chief John Diegbegha, Benikarewei of Ogulagha Kingdom; Chief Godwin Korubor Government; Chief Perefugha Karawei JP and Chief Williams Igere.
