Meinbutus Federated Communities get new president
Activist Amakiye Ekaye has been elected as President of Meinbutus Federated Communities, in Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom in Delta state.
GbaramatuVoice writes that Ekaye and others were newly elected to Meinbutu Executive Council and will pilot the affairs of the communities for the next four years.

The newly elected Executives are Amakiye Ekaiye – President; Rowland Okpokunou – vice president; Awiki Alex – Secretary; Ebilade Monday – Treasurer; Godstime Daniel – P.R.O; Poweide Sunday- Speaker; Ella Ponke- women leader; George Justice – Publicity Secretary and Polokowei Emmanuel as Mobilization Officer.
Meanwhile, the Meinbutus Federated Communities Elders Council who was represented by Chief Godwin Okporoko and Hon. Hendrick Opukeme assured the newly elected Executives that they are going to write an official letter to companies and relevant authorities introducing the new executive led by Amakiye Ekaye.
Ekiaye, who spoke to the GbaramatuVoice on Saturday in Warri shortly after election, thanked the elders, leaders and people of the communities for voting for him and given the opportunity to serve and oversee the affairs of the Meinbutus xommunities from 2023 to 2027.
He congratulated his executive members on their elections, noting that they would ensure that the interests of the communities are protected and pursued while relying on the advice of the elders’ council to enable them to discharge their duty effectively and efficiently.
Dignitaries at the event include; King Amb. General Godsday Smith – Bounanawei aka King of the forest; Chief Opunama Andabofa; Hon. Mike Loyibo; Comr. Joseph Eniekebi, the immediate past Meinbutus Federated Communities President; Comr. Lot Liyibo, among others.
