Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde is an Ijaw woman from Rivers state, Nigeria. She hails from Buguma, Kalabari kingdom in Asari Toru Local Government Area.
Her support and constant encouragement are part of the success story of her husband, Governor Makinde.
She is another reason to make you believe that Ijaw women are very productive even in other states where they are married to.

Tamunominini graduated from Thomas University, Houston,Texas, in the United States of America with a double first-class honors BBA/MBA.
Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde has been married to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, for over 22 years and they are blessed with 3 children.
Mrs. Makinde is just not known as the wife of the Oyo State governor, she is also an astute and capable Engineer, judging from her first-class degree. She is also a philanthropist, who is known to show compassion to the downtrodden, especially women and children.
