–Urge Supporters To Vote ‘Five Over Five’

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) standard bearers for the Delta South Senatorial District, Sen. James Manager; Warri Federal House Of Representatives, Thomas Ereyitomi and Delta State House of Assembly Warri South West Constituency, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor yesterday stormed Warri South West PDP Campaign Rally in Isaba and Ogbe-ijoh Kingdoms.
The rally which was tagged “five over five” was held in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State to stir up support for all PDP’s candidates at the Federal and state levels.
Manager while addressing the crowd encouraged them to vote for PDP’s five candidates during the forthcoming general elections viz Atiku Abubakar for President; Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa for governor; Sen. James Manager for Delta South Senatorial District; Thomas Ereyitomian for Warri Federal House Of Representative and Emomotimi Dennis Guwor for Delta State House Of Assembly Warri South West Constituency.
According to Manager, “you mentioned three principal things that your community need which are; upgrading the secondary school, the other is about your road and the third one, which is very significant, is the issue of empowerment.
“I as well as other candidate will address those issues if voted for.”
He further added that he and the other two candidates present are closer to the people than the state governor hence the people should pressure him after he may have been voted into office to attend to their needs.
In his words, “it would be easier for you to reach myself, Thomas and Emomotimi more than the Governor and President. Don’t sit at home, disturb this three people very well.
“The three of us here are closer to you than those above. Don’t blame us from home, don’t sit at home and say we are not doing anything. We represent a large number of people from different words and local government, so if you don’t bring your case to us we may not remember”.
Manager applauded the crowd for their support for the PDP family since 1999, adding that PDP has always and consistently run the ward and that this time around will be no different.
While the party’s Warri Federal House of Representatives candidate, Thomas Ereyitomian, said “all what we have seen here today shows we have no reason to disbelieve Isaba people. Isaba has been voting for PDP and they will continue to vote for PDP and it is still going to be PDP.
“The ‘five over five’ is sure in Isaba. We promise that after the five over five gets back into office, we will come back to meet you people and all your issues will be addressed.”
The PDP Delta State House Of Assembly Warri South West Constituency standard bearer, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor said, “Warri South West has always been for PDP and this time around same is bound to happen.”
The chairman of the PDP in Warri South West, Hon. Touyo Duke, concluded by saying that the various speakers who have spoken should be voted for, as Warri South West is for PDP.
