MAN BURNS HIS MOTHER-IN-LAW TO DEATH IN BAYELSA


An estranged husband has set ablaze his mother in-law in Bayelsa because his wife left his house.

The shocking incident happened at Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa state.

An eyewitness told newsmen in Isampou, that the young man allegedly burnt his mother-in-law to death while his brother-in-law who was also suffered severe burn, is still struggling for survival in the hospital.

It was gathered that his wife left their residence at Bomadi area of the Local Government Area, saying that she does not want to continue with the marriage, and moved into her mother’s house at Isampou, Bayelsa.

Report says enraged by the development, the man allegedly poured fuel on his mother-in-law’s room and set fire to it, with the belief that his run-away wife was sleeping in her mother’s room.
