The traditional prime minister of Tuomo kingdom in Delta and Bayelsa states, High Chief Mike Loyibo, has doled out multi-million naira as gift to about one thousand vulnerable indigenes to cushion the effect of COVID-19 in the kingdom.
Loyibo gave out the cash on Wednesday at Tuomo community, traditional head of the kingdom in Burutu council area of Delta state.

Loyibo, a core Buharist and renowned philanthropist, made a similar gesture a year ago when he doled out half a million naira each to over fifty traders and artisans in the kingdom.
In the same vein, less-privileged pupils and students in Star of the Sea Catholic nursery, primary and secondary school, Tuomo, were given scholarship to university level by the philanthropist few months back.
Presenting the cash at his country home in Tuomo, chairman of the distribution committee, Hon. Peres Oloye, noted that beneficiaries were mostly the vulnerable and second phase of cash and food distribution would follow soon.
