History was made on Thursday (January 27) as the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Bibopere Zion, Okerenkoko in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, installed Prophet Peter Ebierede German (JP) as the new spiritual leader of the church.
Prophet German succeeds the late leader of the church, Prophet Haggai Maware, who joined the saints triumphantly in 2020. The church also celebrated 60th anniversary of its existence.
The installation service which attracted high profile dignitaries, lots of anointed men of God, both within the C&S and other denominations truly revealed the supernatural power of God as bishops, ministers and several pastors graced the installation service.
Also at the installation was the King of Zion, His Holiness, Rev. (Dr.) Epistle I. O. Jemine (JP), General Overseer, C&S Church, Bolowou Headquarters.
Speaking at the installation programme, the General Overseer, C&S Church, Bolowou Headquarters, Rev. Epistle I. O. Jemine, who installed the new leader, advised him to be of good cheer as he is now the father to everyone in the church who they are looking up to when it comes to advice, especially, spiritual advice.

He also advised members of the church to support the newly installed leader in order for him to feel loved, adding that with their support and love he would do exploits.
The newly installed minister-in-charge who was born in Okerenkoko community, attended his primary school in Okerenkoko in the late ’80s and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate.
He began his secondary career in Gbaraun Grammar School, Oporoza, after which he proceeded to the Foundation College, Udu in Udu LGA of Delta State where he finally obtained his West African School Certificate, WASC in 2002.
He worked as a casual staff in several companies after his secondary school in 2004 as well as for government personnel — both local and state government.
He became a strong member after giving his life to Christ at an early age and became a member of the choir where he served actively before proceeding to Seraphim School of Theology in the year 2001 and graduated in 2002 and was ordained as an Apostle by Saint I. O Jemine. He was later promoted to Boanerge in 2012 after his return from Israel on Holy Pilgrimage in the year 2011.
In the years 2006-2011, he was appointed as the assistant organizer of Okerenkoko Federated Community under the chairmanship of Apostle Census Oluba. Due to his commitment, he was later selected as the Chief Organizer of Okoyitoru community in Gbaramatu kingdom. During this period, he honed his leadership skills and has been acting as a good leader till date.
The newly installed leader, Snr. Boan Ebieride Peter German, JP, is happily married to Omo-Ogun-kristi Pereta Ebieride German, who is also a dedicated and committed member of Aladura Band, Bibopere Zion, Okerenkoko and they are blessed with children.
The Cherubim and Seraphim Church is described as full of loving, caring and faith filled people and as a result of their show of love, others emulate them which has kept them going and they are said to be strong in evangelising the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Julius Pondi, member Representing Burutu Federal House of Representatives; Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, member, Delta State House of Assembly, Warri South West constituency, among others.
All who spoke praised his leadership qualities and urged him to continue to be humble and God fearing.
