Joy, surprise as Okerenkoko Executive Council delivers ICT Centre 11 Months after inauguration

Their performance is unprecedented – Community

No doubt, the people of Okerenkoko community were not by any means wrong describing the Hon. Akpodikumor Oturubo-led Executive Council of the Okerenkoko Federated Community as superlative as the executives has within eleven months of their inauguration built an ultra-modern ICT centre which is ready for delivery to the community.

This ultra-modern project according to a statement signed and issued by the General Secretary, Engr. Ebikonde Victor Sokoto will be commissioned on Saturday 19th May, 2018 and after which become available for the community.

The venue of the event is, of course, the environment of the new ICT centre,  Okerenkoko town in Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state.

Expected at the commissioning exercise according to the statement includes but not limited to; traditional rulers, illustrious sons and daughters of both Okorenkoko community and the entire Gbaramatu kingdom and other well-wishers within and outside the state.

Speaking with our correspondent, the chairman of the Executive Council stated that he was propelled into rendering such a selfless service within a recorded time because of the love of his community.

In the same manner, other Okerenkoko community dwellers expressed satisfaction with the Hon. Akpodikumor Oturubo led council with the vast majority of the people describing their performance as unprecedented.

A visit to the newly built ICT centre by GbaramatuVoice correspondent to ascertain the level of work done revealed an imposing edifice with workers still putting finishing touches on both the building and environment.
