IT’S OFFICIAL: INEC declares PDP’s Oborevwori winner of Delta governorship election
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has declared the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governorship candidate, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori winner of the last Saturday election in Delta State.

Oborevwori was declared the winner by the electoral commission, INEC, on Monday in Asaba, the state capital.

Oborevwori won in 21 local government areas with a total of 360,234 votes to defeat his closest rival, Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who won in four local government areas and scored 240,229 votes.
The governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Ken Pela, came third in the race with a total of 48,047 votes.
