Traders at the popular Ogbe-Ijoh market in Warri South LGA of Delta State are now reckoning with substantial losses, with goods worth millions of Naira consumed by the flames. The market was engulfed in a fierce fire on Tuesday night.
During GbaramatuVoice’s visit to the market on Wednesday morning, affected traders were visibly distraught, some in tears, as they passionately appealed to the Delta State government to extend assistance during this challenging time.
The exact cause of the inferno is yet to be determined.
