Ijaw Leaders Set to Convene at PRINMA 2024 Symposium in Bayelsa

Prominent leaders and stakeholders from the Ijaw Nation will gather today, Sunday, December 1, 2024, for the ProudlyIjaw National Merit Award Symposium (PRINMA) 2024. The highly anticipated event, scheduled to take place at the Golden Tulips Hotel, Government House, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, promises to be a significant platform for dialogue on unity and development in the Niger Delta.

The symposium, themed around advancing the Ijaw Nation and addressing key regional challenges, will feature influential speakers, including Prof. Ben Binebai, who will discuss “Ijaw Unity, Cultural Heritage, and Leadership Development.” Dr. Patterson Ogon will provide insights into “The Kaima Declaration: The True Story and the Ijaw Nation’s Development,” while Comrade Morris Alagoa will address “Environmental Pollution and the Ijaw Nation’s Development.” Comrade Edmund Ebiware Opori will explore “Niger Delta Struggle and the Ijaw Nation’s Development.”
