The Ijaw People’s Assembly also known as Ijaw Nation Development group, a sociocultural organization of Ijaws from all walks of life with wide national and international reach, has heartily felicitated with His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike [CON, GSSRS], governor of Rivers State, on his 58th birthday.
In a message signed by Ben Nanaghan, Ibinabo Ishmael and Kester Dortimi, it said: ” we join Ijaws and non- Ijaws in Rivers State, the sociopolitical class, friends and family the world over to say, hearty cheers to you.

“Your audacious steps at seeking definition of fiscal federalism in Nigeria vis-à-vis VAT collection have, no doubt, endeared you to many Nigerians, home and abroad and shall leave indelible marks on the sands of our new order of political history.
“Having graciously attained 58, we thank God for His mercies and guidance in all your endeavours as a person and as executive governor of Rivers State.
“As Rivers State continues to thrive under your policy drive, may the Almighty God continue to direct you aright. May His word be a lamp unto your feet, and a light unto your path.
“We wish you long life, peace and positive health.”
