Ijaw born Ebimaye makes history, bags PhD from top U.S University at 31
The world on Friday, December 9, 2022, stood in awe for Ijaw born but USA based Praise Ebimaye Tangbe, as she graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) from Jackson State University, in Mississippi, United States of America, at the age of 31.
Making the feat public through a statement monitored by GbarmatuVoice, Ebimaye, among other things stated; “Congratulations to me.. I deserve it. Thank you lord for this achievement; also, thanks to those who supported me through this journey, my family, friends, dissertation committees and faculties, I appreciate y’all.”
Ebimaye, who hails from Gbaramatu kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state, Nigeria, began her higher education at the age of 22, and by the age of 25, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from University of Alabama, Birmingham, USA. At the age of 27, she graduated from her Master’s programme in Public Health from Ohio University, Athens.
By this latest feat, Ebimaye has clearly shown that ordinary calculation can be upturned by extraordinary personalities.
Also newsy is the awareness that the history making Tangbe who, during her PhD programme concentrated in Behavioral Health Promotion and Education, is an aspiring Maternal and Child Health Scholar-Practitioner.
With the educational attainment, Tangbe has not only become a famous health specialist but a globally recognized public health professional and one of the finest and youngest PhD holders in Ijaw land and Nigeria as a whole.
Analysts believe that going by the speed with which she obtained her PhD, if continues on same way, chances are that she may become a Professor before the age 40.
