HERDSMEN: JUBILATION AS ALAOWEI REGAINS FREEDOM, NARRATES HIS THREE DAYS TERRIFYING ORDEAL.

WARRI -President of the Foundation for Human Rights and Anti Corruption Crusade (FHRACC) , Barr. Alaowei Cleric have narrated his three days ordeal after regaining freedom from the hands of his abductors, the dreaded Fulani Herdsmen at Lokoja.

It would be recalled that Alaowei in the company of others mostly from the Ijaws extraction where traveling to Abuja on the 12th of July 2016 when the dreaded Fulani Herdsmen attacked them and in the process of scampering for safety got caught by members of the cannibalistic fellows and was taken to their camp in the deep forest within the Lokoja axis in Kogi State.

According to him, one Mr. Haruna a member of the group told him that they where contacted by a military chieftain from Asaba to kill the people in the first vehicle and make it clear that they are not kidnappers but assassins trained to kill.

The herdsmen further revealed that they will get to all those in the first vehicle while boasting that they know all the houses of those in the said vehicle as they promises to kill them all.

Cleric in his bare his narration, maintains that the herdsmen have earlier demanded N20,000,000.00 Ransome for his release but was later reduced to 1million which was allegedly paid by his family members before his joyous release.

It was however, alleged by Alaowei Cleric, that he was told that the attack was masterminded by people from his area but they just have mercy on him hence his release.

This was contained in a statement sent to Gbaramatu Voice Newspaper narrating his terrific experience in the hands of the dangerous herdsmen.

Cleric maintains that all the information’s where given to him by the said Haruna who claims he is afraid of no one.
