Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, and Chief Dennis Otuaro PhD, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, were among the distinguished personalities who attended the Annual Izon Thanksgiving Celebration at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Beautiful Gate Mega Parish in Warri, Delta State.
Accompanied by their spouses, Guwor and Otuaro joined other prominent figures including Timi Agama PhD, the Director-General of the Nigeria Securities and Stock Exchange Commission, and his wife, as well as Mr. Matthew Tonlagha, Chairman/CEO of Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, and his wife, Deaconess Esther, for the joyous occasion.
The event, which drew attendees from various sectors and backgrounds, served as a moment of expression of gratitude, praise, and worship. Against the backdrop of the RCCG’s majestic setting, participants collectively reflected on the blessings and achievements experienced throughout the year.
High Chief Kestin Pondi, the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, and his wife, along with High Chief Godspower Gbenekama, Fiyewei of Gbaramatu kingdom, also graced the gathering, adding significance to the occasion. Hon. Basil Ganagana, Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta state, and Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka, Commissioner for Urban Renewal, Delta State, were notable figures present, further emphasizing the communal spirit of gratitude that permeated the event.
In a heartfelt expression of appreciation, Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Tonlagha shared, “God has been faithful to us and our family, and we came to return all glory to God.” Their act of generosity extended to the donation of full sound equipment, symbolizing their gratitude to the Almighty.
Adding to the significance of the event, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor remarked, “It was such an awesome time in the presence of God, reflecting on all His goodness with friends and family.”
The RCCG Annual Izon Thanksgiving, led by Pastor C.A.F Obasa, Pastor in charge of Region 23, alongside other spiritual leaders, was marked by a jubilant ambiance. Attendees engaged in Ijaw melodies, fervent prayers, and sincere expressions of gratitude to God.
